General Info: Isaias is technically based on a couple of games called "Where Angels Cry" (Check out my shrine *here*), and I hadn't actually seen the what I thought was a faceless protag when I designed him. He turned out to essentially in the face look like a random ass white man. I mean I knew what he was wearing because in the beginning of the games you pack his clothes, but I decided to give him a little more personality than "white man #5." Not that every white character is boring. He just looked like some man. There was no appeal in character design. I don't care that he was weating a knoghts templar outfit. He looked bad. Anywho, I'm not sure what ethnicity/nationality I mean for him to be. I just wanted to give him a darker skin tone for funsies. I don't know. I felt like it and then got attached to the design. Then I spent forever on baby naming websites trying to come up with a name. I eventually landed on Isaias because it sounded biblical enough (he does work for the church after all) but not *too* preachy. Also, he is autistic in my mind. Anywho personality wise, he's an animal lover (interacts with several animals throughout the games), loves reading, not great with people but generally friendly and well-meaning. He feels the need to help those he comes across and is very innovative as well. The games are minigame heavy, and there are some quite frankly bizarre combinations of objects you need to get past certain points. I tried to work this into his personality with the loving puzzles and innovativeness. Anywho, below is some of my art of him. It isn't much, but I'm trying to add more.
